The film witnessed a great run at the box office on Day 1 as it minted a total amount of Rs 75 crore globally. The figures for Day 2 are here and guess what? Brahmastra has minted Rs 160 crore at the global box office!

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra is off to a roaring start. After it minted Rs 75 crore globally on Day 1, the film has superseded expectations and is doing phenomenally well at the global box office. Producer Karan Johar took to social media and shared Brahmastra's global box office figures on Day 2. And in case you are wondering what, the film has touched the Rs 160 crore milestone at the global box office. Sharing the same, KJo wrote, "The light shines bright Eternally grateful to the audiences for their Big love (sic)."
ABOUT BRAHMASTRA
Brahmastra is a superhero drama that revolves around a simpleton who shares a special bond with fire. It features Alia Bhatt as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor. The cast includes Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the movie. Brahmastra opened in the theatres on September 9.
The storyline of Brahmastra follows Shiva, a DJ, who learns about his strange connection with the element of fire. He also holds the power to awaken the Brahmstra, a supernatural weapon that is said to be able to destroy the universe, capable of destroying creation and vanquishing all beings. On the other hand, Junoon, the queen of dark forces is also on a quest to get hold of the Brahmastra.
